All your FAQ's answered here!

1.     How long is a session? 1 hour with a break in the middle for a drink and snack.

2.     Do you always play outdoors? Yes! Our ethos has always been “outdoors no matter what the weather!” We want our kids to have fresh air and space to run! Honestly, they don’t notice the weather if they are having fun!

3. What if it’s raining or snowing? We will still be there! We NEVER cancel because of the weather. There’s no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothing!

4.     What should my child wear? Clothes should be weather appropriate and suitable for sport and running around. When you join, you will get a great Try Time branded rugby shirt and shorts which we would like you to wear. Trainers are OK when the ground is dry but studded boots are recommended when it’s wetter. Gloves are a must in the winter as well as hat and warm socks. We sell everything you need for the colder months at our online shop. We are proud to partner with RAM RUGBY who provide all our kit which is professional and high quality. As long as your child stays warm and dry, he/she will love it and will probably be peeling off layers by the end of the session!

5.     Is there anything else I should bring? Yes, a drink and snack for half time (and your friends of course!)

6.     Do parents/carers drop and leave the kids? No, it is not a drop off class, you remain responsible for your kids at all times because we play in open parks.

7.     Can parents/carers join in the sessions? Yes of course you can, whatever your child is comfortable with. In the younger age groups and when your child first joins us it is likely that he/she will need your support and guidance throughout the session. As they grow in confidence and ability we would encourage some independence but only when everyone is comfortable with that.

8.     Do you offer a trial class? You can book a trial session before signing up for the term which is £11. Your trial is your space guaranteed for 48 hours after you have completed the trial. If you like it (which we think you will!) we will send a booking link. If you don’t book within the 48 hours the space will open up. Go to the top of this page, click on Clubs and find your nearest club. Then just click on the class you would like to attend and book a trial.

9.     How much is it per session? £11 per session booked by the term. Siblings are then £10. There is also a one-off mandatory membership fee (for each child) of £35 when you first join us which gets you your fab rugby shirt and shorts plus a drawstring bag! You can also head to our shop where you will find everything else you need to get started! Membership is for life so just paid once.

10. Do you operate all year round? Oh yes!! Our terms follow the school terms. Spring is January to Easter, Summer is Easter to July and Autumn is September to Christmas.

11.    Can I book session by session? No, sorry we book by the term. You can join at any time during the term as long as there is space in your class and you will pay for the remaining sessions of that term. Please talk to us about exceptional circumstances though and we will try to be as accommodating as we can.

12.  What if we miss a session? I’m afraid missed sessions are at your own expense; we can’t accommodate sickness/holidays etc! However, if you need to freeze your sessions for any reason, we are happy to do that and credit your account so they can be put towards a booking in a different term.

13.  Can I switch from one venue to another? Yes, of course. As long as there is space at that club in the class you wish to attend.

14.  Can I move classes mid term? Yes of course. As long as there is a space in the class you wish to attend.

15.  Do girls play? Yes, we want to encourage more girls! If you love having fun, love the outdoors, love running around and love playing with your friends then Try Time is for you. Girls and boys of any ability are welcome.

16.  How do I book? Go to the top of this page, click on Clubs and find your nearest club. Click on the class you want to attend and follow the instructions. If you have already booked your trial through the website it will remember you.

17.  Do you do Birthday Parties? Yes, please ask your head coach for more details or get in touch with us at HQ. Our parties are awesome!

18.  I have a few more questions, what do I do? Please contact us at HQ and we will be happy to answer any further questions, details below!
